I grew up using stainless steel, but the food would always stick to the pan. These are so much better and I don't have to worry about Teflon chemicals leeching into my food. The small size is great for a few eggs or food for 1-2 people, and it is so easy to clean. I've been using mine for over five years and they still perform. I also have 10" and 12" that are great for larger quantities. I have used them on induction, gas and electric coil stoves, and find they have more even heating than my other pans.
