I never realized how bad my steel peeler was until I tried one of these Kyocera ceramic peelers. Holy Cow! It cuts clean and easy. Works great on apples, carrots, cucumbers and everything else I've tried it on. Also easy to clean, just put it in the dishwasher, and it will never rust.

I found this product to be very "apeeling"

I peeled parsnips with this which if you’ve ever tried with a dull peeler are a _nightmare_ because they are slightly spongey, sticky, and very starchy so love to grab the blades or shred into sticky pulp.  This peeler _glided_ across them like a _dance_, it was phenomenal!  Everything was kept immaculate and barely any starch was rendered.  They did every bit as amazing a job on the gnarly soiled part around the tops of beets.  The double-edged swivel design uses flat blades which work better than the scooped ones in cheap peelers because the shavings sheer right past the peeler instead of being turned to the side at random thicknesses and winding up in such an unruly pile.  The handle is shaped and sized perfectly for me and is a breeze to clean.  The blades themselves are easy to clean safely using a soapy spongue.  One other thing I appreciate about the design is that the blade assembly is given ample clearence from the frame so that cleaning thoroughly is easy.  I’m very happy with this peeler’s design and performance.  Another excellent Kyocera product!

This is so sharp and very easy to use. It slices like nothing else! Being dishwasher safe just makes it even better.

Peeling anything can be accomplished with a minimum effort.  Easy to use, easy to clean.

I'm just ok with this peeler.  I can't peel veggies as quickly as another peeler I bought, which I had to find on the internet as it was a vintage one, but was still new.
